Al Stone
Al Stone, L.Ac., D.A.O.M. graduated from Emperor’s College with a Masters in TCM (1997) and a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (2007). He is best known as the founder of the website acupuncture.com. Dr. Stone maintains a significant online presence at gancao.net, and an internal medicine practice that focuses on Chinese herbal medicine in Santa Monica. He also teaches classes and supervises in the clinic at Emperor’s College. Dr. Stone has been editing TCM texts since 1995, including The Treatment of Lupus, Scleroderma, and Dermatomyositis with TCM, published by People’s Medical Publishing House in Beijing. Drs. Stone and Qiao are coauthors of The Traditional Chinese Medicine Formula Study Guide.
